Sources are telling ThinkSecret that Apple might release new MacBooks with the upcoming Leopard release. Sources believe the MacBook update will not be too big, instead having a similar speed bump the systems received last November ahead of the holiday buying season. It is unclear at this time whether this means the MacBook will maintain its current architecture and receive faster processors – the current 2.0/2.16GHz processors could be bumped to to 2.16/2.33GHz – or whether they will have the new Santa Rosa chips that the MacBook Pro got early this year.
